2025 has already been a landmark year for Transreport – a year of bold innovation, milestones in global partnerships, and groundbreaking progress in creating truly inclusive travel and experiences for Disabled and older people, and anyone with access needs.
At the core of it all is our mission to pioneer the world’s first global accessibility network – a secure, digital platform that empowers people to communicate their access needs seamlessly, while enabling businesses across industries to deliver personalised, inclusive support.
This innovation is about unlocking real-world access and opportunities on a global scale. So how did we get here?
Here’s a roundup of some of the incredible moments and initiatives that have defined Transreport’s journey so far in 2025 – and a sneak peek into what’s coming next.
Unveiling PA Access Link at Transreport Summit 2025
In May, we unveiled PA Access Link, our latest innovation and the cornerstone of our accessibility network. PA Access Link enables businesses – from transport and hospitality to venues, leisure and events – to effortlessly support diverse customer needs, enhance loyalty, and unlock insights that drive operational excellence.
This announcement was a key focus of our exclusive event Transreport Summit 2025, which brought together 100 business leaders, Disabled change-makers, and innovators to discuss the future of accessible travel and experiences.
Highlights included Jay Shen’s visionary keynote, a compelling fireside chat with industry experts, and energising insights from Dom Hyams of Purple Goat Agency. The response to PA Access Link was phenomenal and this sentiment underscores the growing business imperative of accessibility – key to unlocking a $13 trillion global market and driving customer loyalty.

Global Partnerships Driving Impact
Transreport’s reach is expanding rapidly, with key partnerships across continents that are transforming accessibility in travel and beyond:
East Midlands Airport (EMA), United Kingdom
We launched our PA Operational Technology with EMA in January, marking a new standard for accessible air travel. Following a successful partnership since May 2024, this deployment is empowering airport staff to deliver personalised assistance to millions of Disabled and older passengers, improving confidence and comfort at every stage of the airport journey.
Hankyu Railway, Japan
Our PA Staff Web Dashboard is now integrated across all 87 Hankyu stations, facilitating over 22,000 monthly assistances. This innovative digital solution empowers passengers to communicate their access needs ahead of travel, creating a seamless, inclusive rail experience.
As our Head of Japan Natsuko Kikawa notes, “This launch is about more than pre-booking – it’s about reassurance and comfort for every passenger.”
These partnerships reflect Transreport’s global commitment to tailoring solutions to diverse travel ecosystems and cultural contexts.

Industry Recognition and Awards
We’re honoured to have been recognised by some of the most prestigious institutions this year:
- Shortlisted as finalists in the British Diversity Awards 2025 under the Diversity in Tech category, highlighting our continued commitment to breaking down barriers through technology.
- Awarded The King’s Awards for Enterprise in Innovation, by his Majesty King Charles III on the recommendation of Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer – an extraordinary achievement that recognises the social impact of our technological innovation. Our Founder and CEO Jay Shen attended an exclusive Royal Reception at Windsor Castle – an incredibly proud moment for the entire Transreport team.

Thought Leadership and Advocacy
Transreport continues to influence and shape inclusive travel benchmarks worldwide:
- Emma Partlow, our Director of Consumer Engagement and Policy, launched a powerful quarterly column in RAIL Magazine addressing how digital innovation and human support can transform rail travel for Disabled passengers across the globe.
- We joined the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Customer Experience and Facilitation Working Group, helping to set future standards for aviation accessibility.
- Our leadership team participated in keynotes and panels at major industry events worldwide including Naidex 2025 and the Arabian Travel Market, where our COO Waleed Ahmed joined global leaders to discuss accessible tourism’s massive social and economic potential.
Building Community and Collaboration
In 2025, we launched Transreport’s Community Network, a feedback initiative designed to strengthen collaboration with Disabled and older people, ensuring lived experience shapes the future of accessible travel.
Through webinars, workshops, and paid research opportunities, this network plays a vital role in ensuring we create solutions that are inclusive, scalable, and impactful – for both our end-users and our industry clients.
Transreport’s journey is just beginning. Our vision to connect the world and unlock access to travel and experiences for everyone, everywhere is driving everything we do. Through the world’s first accessibility network and innovations like PA Access Link, we are creating a future with less barriers – one where technology empowers autonomy, equity, and inclusion on a global scale.

To businesses and partners looking to be part of this transformation: the time to prioritise accessibility is now. The market is growing, the need is urgent, and the opportunity to lead is yours.
